Ravensbrück:
For Women Only

Sachsenhausen: Walking on Sacred Ground

Built in 1939, Ravensbrück was the only concentration camp built for women inmates by the Nazis. Located 56 miles north of Berlin, many medical experiments were performed at this camp. Inmates were used as slave labor at the Siemens Factory, and during the last few months of the war, a gas chamber was built where approximately 2,500 women were killed.

Built in 1936, on the outskirts of Oranienburg, Sachsenhausen was intended for a large intake of wartime prisoners. The camp had an installation for mass execution by shooting, disguised as a prisoners’ examination room. Inmates from Ravensbrück were used in the brothel, created by Heinrich Himmler.

Two 30 minute films.

Currently in production.
